During the early 2000’s, Jennifer conducted research with different organizations, school officials and private agencies and discovered that there were not an adequate amount of parent coaching programs to help parents develop more effective skills to empower them for success.

Jennifer decided to embark upon the needs of her community. In 2005, she was awarded a grant from the Aurora Foundation to implement an 8-week parent program at the East Aurora High School T.A.P. Program (alternative school program for pregnant teens and teens who had just given birth to a newborn). Through this program, Jennifer led weekly parent group sessions for teens and coordinated a parent/child field trip to Gymboree. The program culminated with an award luncheon. To further adopt the community needs, Jennifer launched Created Just For You Services, Inc. (a two year pilot program). In-home parent coaching/mentoring, court representation, educational workshops and training, community referrals, consultation, were just a few services that were offered to facilitate families in piecing their lives back together.
